About Memories of Honor

#EveryDayIsMemorialDay

Memories of Honor exists to make sure that no service member who gave their life for our country is forgotten — and that the families who carry their memory are never left to carry it alone.

This app is the digital home of that work. It hosts the MD365 Wall of Honor and the Duel E. Stanfill Veterans Memorial, where each fallen hero and deceased veteran receives a permanent memorial page: their photograph, their rank and unit, the story of their service, the tributes left by the people who loved them, and the everyday details that made them who they were.

It is built for families first. Parents, spouses, children and siblings can claim their loved one's memorial, add photographs and memories, invite relatives into a private family circle, and keep the page alive for the generations who will come after them. Veterans, friends and grateful strangers can leave a tribute, share a memory, and find the comrades they once served beside.

Memories of Honor is a nonprofit organization, and this app is built and maintained by our small staff together with a team of volunteers — many of them Gold Star family members — who believe that every day should be Memorial Day.
